Last weekend was a proud moment in Longman family history. For Lucas at least, but only somewhat.
William and I were in Kansas visiting family. We were downstairs at my parent's house perusing the toys in the toy box. William came across one of those giant water guns - super soaker variety. He pulled it out and pointed it at me.
"Don't move, " he says.
Now I know your first thought is "Whoa! Is this kid the son of a cop or what?! Must be some law enforcement skills in his genetic code!" Weeeeelllll, not quite.
The gun was upside down and backwards.
But, hey, even Dirty Harry started somewhere - right?!
