We went to the beach! Grandma Mary Beth and Grandpa Larry treated everyone to a group vacation this year to Hilton Head in South Carolina. Very exciting for us as the kids have never had a chance to experience the beach!
This was the beach just a few feet away from our condo - absolutely beautiful!
We had lots of fun exploring especially in the mornings when lots of things will wash up.

Hope was not sure about the beach at first - she wasn't sure what to make about the water - that moves! But, she warmed up and LOVED it.
William LOVED it right from the start. We bought him a boogie board to try and ride the waves. He wasn't great at that, but enjoyed trying it all the same.
Grandma and the kids had lots of fun making lots of sand castles.
Cousin Ellie - both the kids had lots of fun playing with her.

One of my favorites of the weekend - Ellie reading stories to the sea snails we brought back the day before. Deceased sea snails no less. She, of course, had no idea. Hilarious!
At the nature preserve - Hope was the navigator. Never fear - the trail was well-marked.
