A quick recap of November

FIELD TRIP!

William's class went to the Littleton Historical Museum for their class field trip. A living old-time historical working farm with blacksmith, ice house, school house, etc.

I went along and was in charge of four LIVELY boys, my own included for the visit. It was a really cool place, unfortunately it had snowed a few days before and then semi-melted so bascially it was a big muddy, snowy mess everywhere. Fun.

 The blacksmith was very cool. He even made a few simple items, and demonstrated his bellows. The kids were captivated!

 School house and master. With a real working stove. Hallelujah! Nice and toasty in there which was a nice change. I'm not really sure the kids totally grasped that if they had lived 100 years ago this would have been the school house they would have gone to every day. I really enjoyed the flag on the wall with the authentic number of stars and stripes for that time period.

 HOPE'S HAPPENINGS

 And totally switching topics - another fun favorite - Music Class! Miss Hope's absolute favorite activity every week. We have been attending for about a year now and we both love it. Here she is sitting in Miss Stephanie's lap.

And another milestone - our 2nd visit to the dentist! She did a GREAT job and didn't cry once! She did such a good job, she got a beautiful crown! And no cavities  - Hooray!
