Stock Show 2016

There's no better way to kick start the NEW year than by posting two months later. Meh. I'm going to try and get caught up on this darn blogging thing!

So, here we go! January we visited the Denver Stock Show for the FIRST time! What fun and SO much to see and do. We were there for the afternoon and I think we really only scratched the surface!

 William got to sit on a real live longhorn! I know that seeing this picture, it looks like it just a prop, but it was REAL! He was a little nervous, but he did great!

 Our princess cowgirl, Miss Hope. Before we ever even made it downtown, Hope announced that she wanted to ride a pony! I think we were all a little surprised, she had never announced an interest.
And lucky us, there was a pony ride in the children's area. Hope promptly chose the white pony named Jem. She regularly tells us - even 2 months later - that she rode a pony!

 Lots of other fun stuff to do! Including watching the equestrian events for a little while.
