We were all supposed to travel to Kansas for the weekend. But, it just didn't quite work out. 
William and the goats
Lucas was not able to travel with us, as we got a call that same day that his Grandpa Oostenbrug had passed away. So instead of coming to Kansas as planned, he got on a plane to Iowa instead. It was with great sadness and heavy hearts that we let him go. We are pretty sure, however, that Grandpa O is somewhere in heaven asking the angels to "pull his finger". Grandpa O, you are missed!
William and I traveled to Wichita alone. We did have a very nice visit with my family. We took Papa and Grandma McElroy to the Wichita zoo. William had a grand time! I think his favorite part was the children's petting zoo. He really enjoyed feeding the goats and petting them. He got confused and tried to feed some of the goats their own poop! C'mon, people, it is the exact same size and shape - just slightly different color!!! He even tried to kiss a goat!

And we always have lots of fun with Cousin Kennedy! This trip, as with most, it was "Pete" and "Re-Pete"! Kennedy is usually "Pete"!
