We had a new milestone in our house just this week. One we weren't expecting ... yet. Our first bad word. Although, Lucas loves to tell the story of how his youngest brother, Doug, repeated a string of them in church, at the top of his lungs no less. We still weren't ready. Hindsight is always 20/20, right?!
Yup, that's right. William said "damnit". We still aren't totally sure he:
1) knew what he was saying
2) was even saying that word, but it sure sounded like it!
It "came up in conversation" the other night, right in a string of gibberish. So that's why we're still scratching our heads. Did that really just happen? We have decided for now just to totally ignore it and see if it is repeated again in the near future.
But for now, mom and dad are minding their P's & Q's too!!
