Disney - part two!

Day two of our Disney adventure - we visited the Animal Kingdom. The first stop was the safari! Really cool, they load groups into these trucks that look like open Land Rovers and take us out into the "African Savannah" for the 2 week safari. We had perfect luck and got to see so many animals up close!

Next stop - a character lunch! Here is our motely crew with Donald Duck. Don't mind the flying nun in the background, just Papa Earl's goofy hat. Next to him is my Aunt Barbara who also came with us.

I think William's favorite part of this park was the very cool "Dino Dig" play area. All kinds of stairs and slides and walk-ways all set up to look like part of a fossil dig. The place was huge and poor Lucas had to chase him all over the place because mama was not up to it.

 

 

I didn't do a good job of getting pics, but these at least give you an idea.

One ride that was NOT a good idea was the dinosaur ride where you go "back in time" and see dinosaurs up close. Too scary for both Kennedy and William. Here's a pic to prove it!

 

 

William talked about that ride for the next few days. He kept saying "Mama, please don't make me ride that one again - it was too scary." Although, then he tried to convince Grandma Marilyn she could ride it and he would keep her safe. Which he promptly renigged on and said Mama or Daddy would ride with her. HA!
