Time for an update on Miss Hope! She is in full toddler mode these days and there is NOTHING she won't get into. It takes her approximately 3.4 minutes to turn any room into shambles. And now you know how I spend most of my days.
At 14 months, showing off our new dress from Disney! Thanks, Papa Earl!
A little throw-back. This is my gardening buddy last summer.
And here she is 1 year later - so big!
She is climbing everything which is not a happy development as far as mom is concerned. I have to watch her even more carefully. She can also blow kisses (ADORABLE), says "Hi" and "Bye" to anyone, complete with a wave good-bye. And she can say: Mama, Dada, Bubba (brother), Go-go, puppy (one of her FAVORITE words - she calls everything puppy including the cat) and baby. Occasionally she will say another word here or there, but if we only hear it once we aren't certain we heard correctly. She has been able to signal "more" thru baby sign language for a few months now and we are working on please and thank-you.
She also likes to fold her hands and bow her head when we says prayers at the dinner table. I know she has learned that in bible class, which she loves. We are trying to remember to say prayers with her at night, but I can rarely remember.
Here's the info from our latest doctor visit - 15 months.
Length: 31.25 inches 75th percentile
Down slightly from her 12 month visit when she was 29 inches and the 92nd percentile
Weight: 22 pounds 62nd percentile
Up slightly from her 12 month visit when she was 18 lbs, 11 oz and the 60th percentile.
Head circumference: 18.5 83rd percentile
Here she remained pretty steady, 18.25 inches at 12 mo., but 90th percentile.
Maybe she won't have the giant Longman noggin! However, I do know she has inherited my klutziness, she is constantly tripping and falling over her feet or mine or really anything. We should have named her Grace. Poor kid.
Here she is in February, 10 months.
And this is March - our movie star! She is quite the ham, same as William!
My how time flies!
