December in review - continued
We had a lot of fun this year with our new advent calendar courtesy of Grandma Mary Beth. In each of the drawers (one for each day) I put little slips of paper giving us activities or sometimes corny holiday jokes. One of the drawers said to go out for a drive to see the Christmas lights. A friend suggested one of her favorite locations and it did NOT disappoint! WOW! This one house was above and beyond.
This was in front of the garage. They even had a sign out front that gave their "operating hours" during the Christmas season. Clearly they are pros!
Amazing, right?!
The following week was William's holiday party at school!
Here the kids are playing "pin the nose on Rudolph".
William was a little off!
Another cute game, one child could wear the pointy elf hat, and another throws the rings at their head.
They also got to make their own personal snow globe using a baby food jar, Christmas ornament, glitter and water. Lots of fun for everyone!
