The Wildlife Experience - Christmas break outing

During William's winter break we had a chance to check out a new place that he has wanted to go for sooooo long! The Wildlife Experience in Parker - which is on the opposite side of Denver. Kind of a cross between the Nature of Science Museum and Children's Museum and bit of a real zoo thrown in.

We got SO lucky - there was a Lego exhibit there while we were visiting!
A real almost life-size race car.

Fun Lego people!

A large part of the museum was a "wildlife experience" in different habitats. The other really cool thing was that several of the animals in each habitat were animatronic. this bear would lift his head and roar as if we were disturbing his slumber.

Giraffe eating leaves in the African Savannah.

Crocodile!

And look our very own tiger - roaring! This was part of the children's play area complete with costumes and a backdrop for playing.

William made a very good choice and we are so glad we were finally able to visit!
