Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was quite a treat this year thanks to William's creative mind. He insisted that we all dress up - some as pilgrims (or pilgers as he kept calling them at first) and some as Indians. HOWEVER, his first idea was that we all come dressed as Indians and we had to be in our underwear because that is all the Indians had to wear. Mom put the kibosh on that one fast. So he went to the next idea and for that I was thankful!

Here are the "Indians"!

Notice Miss Hope's festive feather - her costume. And messy face!

Dad was thrilled to be a "pilger". Can't you tell?

Table decorations made by William. One Indian and 1 pilgrim (top photo).

Pilgrims and Indians celebrating together!

Indian showing his prowess with the bow.

This was our "I'm grateful" turkey. We went around the table and named off things we were thankful for and then put the info onto the turkey as his feathers. Sister was grateful for "Gigkey" - Mickey Mouse, her absolute favorite show and Gus. And the rest of us were thankful for the usual, good health, family and a nice warm house.

We are SO thankful to have been together and celebrating in style - courtesy of William! Things are NEVER ever dull when he is around!
